Protective caps for MKP(D) capacitors
Plastic protective caps to protect the capacitor terminals from accidental contact or the influence of dust and water are availa-
ble as an option.

For diameters up to 60mm, the caps are fitted to the capacitors during manufacture, to give an IP50 rating. In this case, cable
and integral discharge resistors are also fitted.

Protective Blank for CAPAGRIP™ M Terminal (IP20)
Type M terminals are designed for accepting 50mm² cables. If one side of the terminal block is not used, then this blank must
be fitted to maintain the IP20 rating.
